The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Met with Representatives of the Buddhist Community Interested in Iran

On Friday, June 5, 2021, Mr. Nasseredin Heidari, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand, met and talked with representatives of the Buddhist community interested in Iran, including the Buddhist monk and Chairman of the National Council of Thailand. In this meeting, the parties, while emphasizing the historical roots of the relations between the two nations, discussed and exchanged views on ways to develop relations between the two countries in the political, economic and social fields. Among the issues discussed was the development of barter trade between the two countries.

In this meeting, the Iranian Ambassador encouraged Thai citizens to travel to Iran to experience travel to Iran and the hospitality of Iranians up close and personal, away from the news hype of Western media.
